Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an established, researched program developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn in 1979. Since its inception, hundreds of thousands of people have experienced positive health changes. During the 8 week course participants learn about, but mostly practice, mindfulness through meditation, mindful movement, mindful eating, as well as understand stress reactivity. The 8 week program starts on Thursday, February 25th 6-8:30pm plus a full-day retreat Sunday, April 2, 9am-3pm.
