Hoofin' It for High Horses, now in it's 27th year, is the biggest fundraiser of the year for our therapeutic riding program. The event features a 7-9 mile trail ride and a 3-7 mile walk through the spectacular Vermont countryside. This year, we’re delighted to announce Hoofin' It will be hosted in Barnard, VT on Saturday, September 19, 2020!

So much more than a just fun trail ride or walk among the trees, your participation in Hoofin’ It makes life-changing opportunities possible for family, friends and neighbors with unique needs through a therapeutic equine experience. The funds raised from Hoofin’ It directly support High Horses’ mission and program delivery. High Horses has been able to provide a safe, fun and beneficial therapy program to people of all ages in our community since 1993. At our farm, barriers are removed, strengths are celebrated, and relationships are formed. Even during the current COVID-19 pandemic, we are hearing from the community that High Horses is essential, and it's heartwarming to know we can safely help those who need a caring place to come for support and mind/body health during this strange and difficult time.
