10th Annual Woodstock Vermont Film Series: The Dog Doc

2019-2020 Winter Films

Nominee, Best Documentary, Tribeca Film Festival

Directed by Cindy Meehl.

A founding father of integrative veterinary medicine, Dr. Marty Goldstein and his colleagues have created a mecca for holistic care, offering hope to previously hopeless animals (and their owners). Combining conventional remedies with cutting edge alternative therapies, Dr. Marty’s deeply empathetic philosophy offers a vital example of how improving overall health rather than merely treating disease is transformative for all living things.

The Dog Doc offers an immersive view into a seldom seen world to paint a vivid picture of the dedication and joy of being a veterinarian.

Presented in association with the Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival – “Best of the Fest” – Vermont Tour.
