While this year is still looking quite a bit different than years before, St. Patrick's Day is still right around the corner and worth getting excited about!

Whether you are grabbing takeout to enjoy some corned beef and cabbage at home or enjoying it safely with a small group of friends at a restaurant, here are 3 places to grab some authentic Irish dishes this year in the Upper Valley.

Murphy's On the Green

11 S Main Street, Hanover, NH

It might be American cuisine, but Murphy's is always a Hanover staple when it comes to finding classic Irish pub food and we'd be remiss if we didn't include them. Grab a Shepherds Pie to go and share with the family! Better yet, Murphy's is family-owned and a great opportunity to support a small business during the time of year that is usually a big income for the year.

Salt Hill Pub in West Lebanon

5 Airport Rd, West Lebanon, NH

Salt Hill Pub is a small local chain owned and operated by brothers Joe and Josh Tuohy. A classic pub, they celebrate good food, pints of beer, and live music. Though this year's St. Patrick's Day might be looking a little different for them (and everyone), you can still grab some beef and Guinness stew!

JL Sullivan's Irish Pub

891 NH49, Thornton, NH

While JL Sullivan's might be a slight trek to get to from Hanover, it is well worth the journey! Here you will find classic Irish pub food like Irish Nachos and Blarney Stone Bites. Enjoy sandwiches, soups, and of course Bangers & Mash. It's a fun environment and a great place to support!
