Hanover Magazine: Please provide background information about who you are and what led you to start an Etsy Shop.
Hanover Magazine: What do you offer at your Etsy Shop?Camilla Bobrowicz: My Etsy shop offers a range of handmade items, including pencil cases, makeup bags, tote bags, project bags, and cloth face masks. I’m working on expanding, and other crafty things will be added in the future!
Hanover Magazine: Why did you choose the Upper Valley Humane Society to receive the proceeds of the sales?
Camilla Bobrowicz: I chose the Upper Valley Humane Society because they do so much for the community and the animals they take care of. While volunteering, I saw how much love and effort is made to make sure the animals are happy and safe, while they wait to find their forever homes. I was impressed by UVHS and all the fantastic work they do.
Hanover Magazine: What is the time period of the project, and how/where can individuals make their purchases?
Camilla Bobrowicz: I started my shop in March of this year and am planning on keeping it running through the school year, and maybe longer. You can find my store at www.etsy.com/shop/CamillaBCreations or by typing “CamillaBCreations” into the search bar on the Etsy site. I am happy to make custom orders as well - customers can reach me by direct message through my Etsy shop page.
Hanover Magazine: What does it hold for you?
Camilla Bobrowicz: I hope to return to in-person volunteering at the humane society as soon as it is possible to do so safely, but, in the meantime, I will continue to raise money for them through my Etsy shop. I also hope to continue working for animal advocacy causes throughout college.
