How Ledyard’s Contest Gives Away More Than $20,000 to Local Nonprofits

Whether our Financial Advisors are uncovering a client’s needs and values while developing an appropriate investment strategy, partnering with our Commercial clients on growing their business, finding the right mortgage for a family new to town, or simply opening a checking account for a Personal Banking customer, we take great pride in improving the financial lives of our neighbors!
What does "Plan well. Live well." mean to you?
Below is the notice describing the Contest Ledyard created, in which the bank gave away more than $20,000 to local nonprofits:
Ledyard will reach out to nonprofits asking them to compete for first, second, and third place cash prizes by submitting a video (maximum 2 minutes in length) about what Plan well. Live well. means to their organizations.
Once submissions are received, all videos will be posted to our Facebook page. Votes will be tabulated by visitors to our Facebook page who have liked our page and liked the video they are voting for. The video receiving the most likes after a three-week period will be awarded the first place prize, the second number of likes second place, and so on.
The nonprofit organizations will be required to publicize the contest on their websites and social media sites to encourage their patrons to like and vote.
