Green Up Day

Green-Up Day in Hanover, Hanover Center, and Etna will take place this year on Saturday, May 2nd. Volunteers are needed to get together to clean up road-side trash. Bags for trash pick-up will be available at the following locations during the week of April 26th: RW Black Community Center (48 Lebanon Street) Town Hall (41 South Main Street) Department of Public Works (194 Lebanon Street) Etna Library (130 Etna Road) Howe Library (13 South Street) To sign up for an area, please email Adriane at, or call 603.640.3373. To see a list of areas that have already been assigned, click here. This list will be kept as up-to date as possible, but please include a second choice area to clean up. Areas may be cleaned up anytime during the day of May 2nd and bags left along the side of the road to be picked up by the Public Works Department on Monday, May 4th. Participants will need to provide their own gear (gloves, etc.).
